It's Been 3 Years

It's been 3 years, from the day we first moved into 541, to now we parting from 350.

It all started when we first met at BTN camp, both of us were aiming for Melbourne Uni and were looking for housemate. We promised that we would be housemates if both got into Melb Uni! And so we got in and we became housemates! haha when we met for the third time!

Now I'm graduating while she still has another year here, and today marks the last day us being as housemates after three years *sob sob*

I will definitely remember your signature red bean soup, black pepper beef, cornflake cookies and so many more!

And thanks for being so considerate when the gang gang crash our place! thanks for bearing with me and my emotional dramas! thanks for taking care of me like a sister! I wouldn't have been living so comfy in the house without u! The house would be so empty this dec T.T

Thanks for everything! I wish the best for u next year and many years coming :D I believe when i think back all the things happened in 541 and 350, I would smile and miss u like crazeh.

Broke my own record, 6 job interviews, 8 interviewers, 4 days. kiasu enough? haha! not really lah, turned down one interview even after i passed the 1st stage assessment and 2nd youtube resume! [trying to find excuse for my kiasuness] but phew! glad that they are finally over now!

did not have quality sleeps for the past few days. just like how i used to be whenever i had public speaking on the next day! 1. too worried for interviews; and 2. did last min research and readings for companies.

I was never a person who is good at talking, especially when it comes to talking to the grown-ups, and about things other than non sense. damn. but after these interviews i feel i grow up a lil more :) why? coz i think im using my brain seriously recently! hahahahhahahahhah jk. what i mean is that, im seriously thinking in depth about my future now.

so wanna know what's my future plan? :D

I DUNNO!! yeah still. i don't even know whether i shud do accounting or finance! god hint me pretty please? *puppy eyes* sometimes i think i wanna do finance coz accounting is toooooooo common. but im worried that im not critical enough for finance. sob. the low confidence makes me think that maybe i shud just start with audit job. sigh.

sometimes homesick still comes to me. and i still cry sometimes when i talk to parents.

and this is one of the days.

did not get a good enough result this sem, should i say the worst in my uni.

mom told me she din dare to tell my dad in case of heart attack (joke i assume?).

but well being my dad for 21 years and mom's husband for 24 years, he knew it well.

so he asked if i din do as well this time.

i said yes.

instead of getting lectured, dad just told me gently, that if it's because of work, then don't work as much anymore, they would spend less when they come over. and he wants me to make him proud by graduating with good results, so that his trip to melbourne would not be pointless.

Belated Post on My 21st

I always wanted to update on my 21st, yeah coz its a once in a life time thingy. LOL but was busy and lazy.

I was telling my friends that i wanted a birthday celebration on my bday eve in a club (good time coz it’s a friday!), followed by hi tea shopping and a nice dinner on the day itself. My gang just replied me that they would get me drunk in the club so that i would sleep my bday through, and they din have to do anything on my bday! =(

Hell yeah to 21st!

Of course, was just a joke, they wont hurt me tat way. hehe. Had a pre-drink session at Yu Jie’s new place before heading to Eve. Was fairly touched by how much friends gave face to me as few of them who had never gone clubbing were willing to go clubbing for me. wheeeee

who else but my beloved friends who made my 21st a blast?

Managed to ~~act soberly and~~ pose in front of the official photographer of the club.

Well, dramas happened in the club u know but don’t worry i still behaved! *wink* some got lost, some HAD to left early *ehem*, some went all out. but it was the first time we went clubbing after coming back to Melbourne and definitely a fun and MEMORABLE night!

MASCA Vic (a student body that i work for) was having a welcoming bbq on my bday (no, not for my bday wtf! not even a slice of cake for me too!) ! well, so after all those alcohol shots, killing heels, dramas and lack of sleep, I woke up the next morning at 830am to get to the bbq. I saluted myself.

I love when everyone looked so happy! <3

Luckily I had those lovely friends, who gave me face enough to bring a huge Secret Recipe choc cake to the bbq to surprise me! The worst thing was i spent the whole day at the bbq til 4 or 5pm. So much for a 21st!

Friends knew i would want more real fun so we spontaneously had another private bbq at my place! (yeah we were bbq freak *roll eyes*) lol. andddd knowing me as a sweethtooth, they bought me another cake of my fav flavour – TARO! *yummmmmm*

Yeah another huge cake!

I guess the best part of my 21st wasnt the shots, food or the present, but the people who were there for me <3 I felt so beloved! and definitely my bestest birthday ever so far (how i wish everyday is my bday!)

Do you still remember how we stayed up all night to talk nonsense and to talk heart-to-heart? And all the fun hanging out to look for great food and bargain deals? I also wish you don forget how we all squeezed in my little kitchen to cook dinner together in laughter.

Do those memories still in your mind? They DO remains in mine, and will always do.

I don’t want to see things turn up this bad. I don’t know where did all this FRIENDSHIT start and I don’t care who to be blamed now. I think, deep inside, everyone of us feel something about it. We just don’t bring it up and naively hope that things will turn better.

I always believe works are works, friends are friends. We don’t do works in certain ways, good or bad, because we are friends or we have personal conflicts. Similarly, we don’t befriend each other, or befriend each other, because we have conflicts at work. This is not a revenging game people. We are too old for the kids game.

After the 4th day in Bali, Imma talk about my last day there. [last day?! *screammmmm*]

Finally a different breakfast after 4 mornings! No more toast! *blerk* but having mee goreng! wheeeee =D

That day, we went to Tanjong Benoa area for water activities. xD fine i made it sound so fun but it was just taking glass bottom boat and watching turtle. and some more kena chopped. Rp 125,000 for both. but when the local forced us to buy souvenir and pay for donation after she helped us to take lots photos with the turtle. damn felt so cheated! >.<

but the turtle were huge!! 40kg o.O

And of course, not to miss out the amazing Uluwatu! Paid an entrance fee of Rp3,000. We were warned to be aware of the monkey robbing. To be safe, every accessories including shades, earrings and rings were kept in the bag and we were holding the bag like a gold box tightly in our arms! lol. Wonderful place! must not be missed!!

After half day touring, we had our very very late lunch at Warung Mina back at Kuta! The restaurant was not as fancy as the others in the town. But surprisingly, the food turned out to be quite impressively delicious! I highly recommend its Tutu Gerami (a spicy fish dish)!! =DDD

After few days walking around, we really deserved a good massage, AGAIN! so this time, we grabbed the promo package by Soma Spa – Rp 1,000,000 for 1 hour Balinese full body massage + half an hour of reflexology. OMG tat was heaven seriously!!

I also did manicure with nail art for only Rp 55,000. But the one i went was not tat pro. >.< Well, for the price i paid, ok lah. lol.

And that night we took a short rest at Bali Sorgawi again before we left to airport at 3.30am!! *yawn*

A reminder!!! Please remember to keep Rp 150,000 for passenger service charge at the airport! don’t spend all the money at Bali. lol.

My last post was about my 3rd day in Bali. Now let me tell you bout my 4th day there 8) Same old stories where the day started with a healthy breakfast at the hotel. Toast, jam, fruits, juices, tea and coffee!

Then we had a walk around Ubud. The Ubud Palace, the Ubud market and the famous Babi Guling Ibu Oka!! Those 3 places were just a stone throw’s away from each other! Ubud Palace was nothing much. While the Babi Guling was the most awesome food that we had had in Bali! Everyone was craving for it after we had it!

Hired driver for half day instead of full day that day. After lunch, he picked us up and we went to Pasar Sukawati. Shopping again. =DDDDDD was too indulged in shopping and i forgot to take photos there! >.< Sorry!!

Then there was Sanur Beach that we went. Instead of tourists, most people there were locals i guess. It was like a family place for them where parents brought their kids along for family day. xD

The hotel we stayed for the last two night was Bali Sorgawi. It was Rp 300,000 per night for a standard room. Compared to other hotels, it was considered smaller yet it was quite clean and comfy! And had better breakfast too! Mee or rice instead of TOAST! xD

It was still early after Sanur Beach when we checked in Bali Sorgawi at Kuta. So we spent the evening having fun at the pool because we thought the pool was cleaner than the beach. =P And this was where we learnt to cam-whore under the water! Wheeeeeeeee =DDDD

And that night, during the dinner at Sendok Cafe, my besties gave me a super early 21st bday surprise! awww i love u all!!!! Thanks a lot to evyone who were at the dinner! thanks *bow*

Also, thanks to ivy, pris, pek, kelvin and tiong hong for the pendant! my plain necklace was so delighted that it finally had a pendant to be with it after being so empty for almost 3~4 years. muacksssssssss!!

We had some drink at Sky Garden that night too. We got the cheapest Bintang there, cost only Rp 9,000 for a small bottle, which usually was Rp 15,000 from convenience store! Bintang ftw! huhu.

Wonderful day it was! Maybe it was the people who made the day so memorable! im a lucky gal. 8)

And there was only one more day to go in Bali – 5th day!

B for Bali :) 18/2/2011

Stories continued from the 2nd day to the 3rd day, we had breakfast in the hotel. Most of us ordered the toast with omelette, except for Ewan who ordered a Balinese Pancake, the green one. Not too bad actually. =D

After breakfast and check out, we stopped by Tegalalang paddy field, which was just by the roadside. Amazing paddy field!

Next, we went to Pura Gunung Kawi, which our driver called as Pura Tirta Empul 2. This place was less visited by tourists but they still charged us Rp15,000 for entrance. Luckily, the place had spectacular view, for which i felt it was worth the price!

After that, we continued the journey to Kintamani. I thought the weather would be cool, but in fact it was not. =.= By the time we reached there, it was already lunch time. Driver suggested us to have lunch at Grand Puncak Sari. It was a buffet lunch which cost Rp75,000. Compared to the previous lunch, dis one was far better with more food and good view on the hill. =) Note note > chicken satay was nice! yummmmmm!

And on the way downhill, we stopped by a random coffee farm but there was nothing much there, especially when none of us was coffee lover. LOL could have skipped that! =P

And again, driver recommended us to go see some cave carving at Gunung Kawi, where we had to walk down some staircase. But it was not as tiring as expected, because there were stalls selling accessories on the way down. Ivy and me were happily walking down to the temple and happily walking up while having some little shopping spree =DDDDD

And what’s nicer than a nice Balinese full body massage after a long day walking? =DDDD Few of us had an one hour massage for Rp85,000 at Sedona Spa. The massage was so-so lah, The one on my last day was better i think =P

Finally it’s dinner time! Bebek Bengil (Dirty Duck) which was so famous at Ubud was definitely not to miss for us. However, personally i thought it was a bit overrated. The duck was so skinny like those who just went to starvation. =P and i think the Spicy Dirty Duck was better than the original one. heheh!

The hotel for the night was Graha Ubud Bali! The double bed was huge enough to fit 8 of us to play chor tai ti! lolx. Besides, there was also a single bed. But they only provided 2 sets of breakfast for my room which accommodated 3 gals. >.< but no complain, it was affordable of Rp 350,000 a night. :)

So was the full stop for 3rd day. Stay tune for our 4th day at Bali! =)))

After sufficient sleep from the 1st day, I woke up and felt better. Went for breakkie by pool side before the driver came. There were few sets of breakkie to be chosen from. Both of us got the toast with egg set, which came with some fruits and hot tea. Very healthy.

I pre-booked a driver for our trip. It’s easier because we din hv to spend time to find one but straight away started our tour in the morning. And luckily, i got a very nice driver, Mr Agung! He gave us a very nice price of Rp 350,000 full day and Rp 200,000 half day.

1st destination was Tanah Lot Temple! Famous for its nice view by the sea, as well as CHEAP SHOPPING! But before that, we had to pay Rp10,000 for entrance. I got a maxi (FINALLY) and a romper, as well as some accessories and souvenirs! Happy shopper =D Oh the key to shop at Bali is to bargain, bargain and bargain! make sure u bargain at least 50%! the more the better =P

Next, we went to Pacung for lunch. Wanted to go to Pacung Indah but due to miscommunication with driver, we ended up at Pacung. LOL Rp65,000 for buffet lunch (without much food choices) we felt like kena chopped. LOL but i have to admit the view was amazing and weather was chilly! which was quite an escape from the scotching hot bali weather in town.

After that was Ulu Danu at Lake Bratan. An entrance fee of Rp 10,000 was required. Amazing place and we couldn’t resist but kept taking photos!

Bali is just full of beautiful temples! The next one we went was Pura Taman Ayun, which was spectacular as well! The entrance fee was cheaper, only Rp 3,000. Too bad it was drizzling when we reached.

The last stop for the day was of course, a nice dinner!! Headed down to Ubud for Naughty Nuri’s Warung, which was famous for its BBQ spare ribs! yummmmmm *slurp* Oh ya its ayam kecap manis was finger-licking good as well! Definitely not to miss if you go there!

The next important thing after food, was definitely a comfy bed! Checked in Jati 3’s family room which could accommodate 4 pax and cost only Rp 400,000. Awesome room with 1.5 storeys but too bad it did not come with air con. Not a prob for me because i found it quite airy at night but might be a bit prob for those who could nt sleep without air con.

Pleasant day it was. Thank god i did not feel sick at all or i ll miss out the huge fun! Stay tune for the 3rd day =)

Early morning at 4am, an urge to puke woke me up even b4 my alarm at 430am rang! Not a good way to start my day, especially when i had a flight to catch for my vacation! >.<

Bro and me. Thanks to dad n bro who sent me to the airport early in the morning =)

Feeling sick and nausea for the whole day. The 1 hour flight to KL from Alor Star and the 3 hour flight to Bali seems to take forever. I puked one time on the plane wth.

First thing first, CHECK IN TO HOTEL! wheeeeeeeee =D the compound of the hotel was nice! but too bad we got the old room instead of new / renovated room so the room was a bit dodgy. *let down* But not much complain for the price we paid, which was Rp 230,000 including breakfast! New room was Rp 300,000.

After checked in into Fat Yogi, we went to Bali Agung Restaurant which was just opposite the hotel. Kelvin, Pek and Ivy were having major starvation while me felt nausea looking at ANY FOOD! believe me, it was a miracle that i survived that day with only 1 slice of bread. Pheww! Since i did not try any of the food, i had no comments for them, but according to my friends, they were just SO-SO.

By the time we they finished lunch, it was already 5 something. We spent the rest of the day hanging around Jln Kuta and did what tourists did – taking photos 8)

Went bk to hotel at 8pm because i was really really sick and couldn’t move my ass around anymore. While me sleeping and having rest in the hotel, the rest went to TJ Mexican for super late dinner. I guess that was a must try because they kept telling me that I missed out alot for skipping that meal! Damn >.<

Anyway, at least i survived the 1st day in Bali tho i was like a dead fish the whole day. Here's how the 2nd day went!

Oops it's 14th of Feb again. Still energetic, still awake. Yeahh Happy Valentine's Day! But it's the same as every year - same as every else day.

Anyway, just watched a thai movie named "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", a.k.a "First Love". The movie showed how a girl works real hard to change herself from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan, just to get the attention of the guy she admires. However, due to misunderstanding and shitty bad timing, the two high school kids who are actually in love with each other, do not get together until 9 years later.

Despite being a bit dramatic, the movie managed to get me tear and laugh. The saddest scene would be when the main actress realises that the guy just got his gf a week before she confessed. Due to the sudden shock, she even accidentally falls into the swimming pool. Poor girl.

Oh ya, don't miss out the English teacher in the movie too! She's the funniest character in the movie! LOL. Here's the trailer:

Today's mom's bday. Me gotta work, sis went to penang while younger sis is at batu pahat now. well, to make up for tat, elder sis and me baked a cake one day earlier for mom - apricot cake! :)

but mom said it's not tat nice. coz it's a bit too hard. lolx. i din eat [for you-know-what-reason]. but i touched it and god it's doesnt feel soft like a cake supposed to be. FAIL. lol.

I was always satisfied with the bus service that Rapid Penang has provided, especially compared to previous bus services that Penang used to have.

However, today I was quite let down by Rapid Penang. I was waiting for bus 401E to Queensbay Mall at Jelutong Expressway where there is a cross junction to turn into Burger King at Sungai Pinang. I doubted the bus would stop at highway so I called Rapid hotline to ask where I should be waiting. A Malay guy told me to call back afterward while he called the bus driver to check where the bus could stop for me.

So I called back after 10mins or so and another Malay lady answered. Apparently she had no idea that I called before so I told her my problem again. And she told me the same thing – to call back after 10mins while she called the bus driver.

So there were another 10 mins and I called back for the third time. This time, another Malay lady answered and I had to tell the story again. She told me she would call the bus driver to check too!

After another 10 mins, I called back for the fourth time, hoping to get the real answer this time! Yet, another Malay guy answered my call and I told the same old story for the fourth time. I also emphasized that I had called for the fourth time! So he took my phone number and name and said that he would call the bus driver and asked the bus to stop somewhere nearby for me. He also told me that he would call me this time when the bus is almost there, instead of me calling Rapid Penang again.

This happened between 12pm to 1pm today, 9^th January 2010. Sadly, until now, 10.44pm the same day, I have yet to get the call from Rapid Penang.

I think this is something that Rapid Penang should really improve on. I understand that it might be hard for buses to stop at highway and thus I called to ask for a better place for me to wait for it. Yet, the staffs failed to give me an answer but letting me to wait like a fool. Even worse, I was given a false promise which they failed to carry out. I was indeed very disappointed by this incident. And I have to say that this has made me lose my confidence in Rapid Penang.

What have I done to deserve this? fcuk.

PS: This is being written after long hours and after I had calmed down. You should really talk to my mom and asked how furious i was this afternoon. Or if you happened to go pass Jelutong Highway that time, you would have seen a girl shouting at the phone at roadside like an auntie at the market showing charcoal dark face. *peace out* :)

Sad Case

Haloooo~! Yeah im still here. Happy New Year tho it's a bit too late :P

I only have 24 days more at PwC, which 1.5 weeks of that would be sent back to Perlis for outstation job again. So after plus minus minus plus, i only have around 2 weeks left in Penang.

Somehow i start to feel that i am someone who does not have a real life. The thing i always do is just facebook-ing facebook-ing and facebook-ing, in the office [ssshh =X] and also at home after work. WHAT A LIFE! I tot i should do something else! but i din know what to do! To the extent that, i slept at 7pm yday and tot of just slept the whole night thru until the next morning. But then when i opened my eyes, it was only 9pm! Fuck liao lahh~ alang alang thr. Then what to do? Facebook again lahhh! =.=

Well, maybe this is what holiday supposed to be?

A lazy blogger like me *cough cough* seldom updates her blog twice or more in a day unless something BIGGGGGG happens!

So guessss whatttttt?!

HOLY COW I could not believe the house almost flooded just now!!!

Being a lazy bum, I just cbf to hand-wash my clothes and decided to use the genius invention of human – washing machine. Well, I guess God was not happy with that and decided something too! He must have pressed the “LOOSE MIND” button on me, and I happily forgot to put the washing machine pipe at the toilet. DAMN that’s evil!

By the time I realized that, the washing machine was innocently pumping out all the water and the water was innocently too, flowing from the machine to the toilet, kitchen and slowly invading the living room and my room! GOODDDDDD...

Now that was great… I wanted to save my energy by using washing machine, but I ended up spending more time and effort cleaning up the mess! >.<

FINEEEEEE lesson learnt: I should not have been lazy wth! =S

Well guess what readers? I did the thing i tot i hated and would be relunctant to do yday - went out alone.

I always believe that no man makes an island. I hate eating alone, shopping alone, watching movies alone, basically doing anything ALONE. I just love people wat to do :DDD

It was a saturday with no plan. So it's neither i died at home of boredom or went out alone for fun. Of coz boredom always lose. :) I was lucky. The 1st bus i got was the one which went to queensbay mall directly (just that i waited at the wrong side of road), if not i would have stupidly went to komtar bus terminal and changed buses to get thr.

Did not do much shopping altho sales were happening evywhr. Only got a pair of heels, masks and gel eyeliner from etude house! Reasons? aww what else if it's not $$!! Damn.. Remind u, I am just an intern with pitiful pay, who even has to chunk out some more money to pay for room, transportation and food. life of an intern. lolx.

And finally went for the famous penang chendol! no one wanted to go with me, so fineeee i went alone. hahahhaha. finally it had a REAL SHOP at komtar! wheeeee well u can still go to the roadside standing stall one if u wan more feel. hehe. but somehow it did not taste as nice anymore. how come?! =/

So was my saturday.

Now is sunday. Fed up with my internet at home and walked 30mins to get to a McD (i guess it's the nearest place with WiFi i could get to by my own "bus 11"). Yeahhh call me DESPO but i din regret walking 30mins for this freaking fast internet. bahahhaha~!!

And yeahh readers, i know this freaking long wordy blog posts are making u guys booooorrrrrrreeeeddddddddd! i wanted to uploads photos but stupid company laptop's bluetooth is not working! sobz~ promise i ll upload a blog post later full with my vain photos k! ngek ngek ngek!!

hi readers, just some update on my life:

today is my 5th day of internship at PWC. the first 3 days were quite jobless, sitting at the office, drinking honey greentea and reading finance mag while evy1 else busy crunching numbers and burying themselves with financial reports. haha. finally joined an audit project at an international school yday. and guess what, i am allocated to a task with my colleague at kilang gula perlis! so cool! and tat's why im now in a hotel in perlis. hahah nvr tot tat i would stay at hotel at kangar. =P

And tell u, i am back to the days of taking buses again sigh. instead of going to school, im taking buses to and fro work. however, the trips could be unbearable sometimes. it took 30mins to just make a turn to go into the komtar bus station from the junction last fri!! arghh.. but at least thr are direct buses from office to work, don hv to change buses here n thr. thank god for tat :D

and let me explain why am i so inactive in fb nowadays (i knw u guys miss me). i actually have broadband with me at penang so tat i could online. but the stupid thing is tat there is no 3G coverage at the place i stay. WTHHHHHHHHHHH!! and i could only rely on GPRS or EDGE to get online with the broadband OMG! loading fb homepage could take me 10mins and twitter is almost impossible. i miss my twitter grrr!

Yeah landed at KL safe and sound :) Currently stuck in KLIA, waiting for another connecting flight back to Alor Star. An EIGHT HOUR wait, could take another flight back to Melbourne already. Oops no complain.

Last year this time was the happiest moment, could not wait to come back. For the people, the weather, the food, and home. This year, it topped with some sad feelings. Sad that im leaving friends behind at Melbourne who are still sitting for exam, that i could not celebrate babe's birthday before coming back, and the fact that some seniors are graduating (i hate separation).

Maybe you would say it's ok, you still have one more year here. But I already feel sad that my penultimate year is going off soon, I seriously can't imagine how depressing would it be when I start packing to leave next year. *pull my hair*

I'm Quitting

I would have never expected myself to learn making teh tarik, cendol, 3 layers tea, 4 layers tea and even 5 layers tea, in Melbourne. Thanks to the restaurant, thanks to my 1st ever job outside of my house. I started off as waitressing, to making drinks, being the cashier, cooking sweet soups and even making wontons. pheww~

:: My 3 Layer Tea ::

I could still recall the my first time working for closing, I did almost 2 hours extra without extra payment, sweeping and mopping the bloody front kitchen and the dining area. And I was the second last one to leave the shop that night. Luckily I did not get much of the closing shift. :P

Instead, Monday morning opening shift becomes my routine now. It's good to work on Monday where there are not much people who eat out. But sometimes, Monday can be super busy as well, with the crowd coming from who-knows-where. Grrrr..

Well, the point is 6 months of working definitely teaches me something. And I think it's enough for now. But it's definitely something I would never forget. :)

Spring Break Without A Break

My 2 weeks of spring had just gone! even faster than a speed jet.

Outta the 14 days, I only remembered waking up twice without the annoying early alarms.

Hmmm.. What had I been busy?

I hit the start button of my holiday with MoMU's wonderful ball "Le Jardin". It was a night of glam, fun and drama. :P

The next day was followed by a series of Raya open houses: Soto, Lontong, Curry, Sirap and all sorta raya food!

And the food did not stop coming. Potluck session, finally, at Loong's place.

Not to forget my our very own PetroVic raya open house too. :)

Put food aside, I did intellectual stuffs too. Attended Malaysian Aspiration Program (MAP), listening to VIPs' talks on "Malaysia's Economic Challenges towards 2020". Turned out to be quite interesting!

Royal Melbourne Show! Candy floss is a must, especially when requested by Drew. haha. Too bad did not have enough time for rides. Bought a small pinky lamb doll. CUTE!

Oh, a series of birthday celebrations too! First was my dearest housemate's one. Agnes and me and the cake :DD

And Jason's one on the next day. Pheww~ Us and a cake again. :)

Of course, the cutest drew's one as well, at Party world karaoke. Singing emo songs happily. :D

Last but not least, my babe, Ivy's 21st! Thanks to Ivy, Pris, Tiong Hong, Pek, James, Edmund and Yang who came all the way to Melbourne. It was a crazy fun night! GREEN TEA FTW! haha.

The effect of Green Tea =S

Next, I celebrated Mooncake Festival at least 3 times. :) Make it up for last year's one, this year's and perhaps the next year's one? One of it was celebrating with my gang gang at Batman's Park, with 6 boxes of mooncakes and a tanglung parade!

Another one at Maco's mom's dinner. 10 dishes, just like CNY reunion dinner. Sweet!

The other one was at Monash Caulfied, with my PetroVic members. Great fun thanks to MaSS!

Then, we did a promotion blast in front of State Library for Festival Malaysia in baju kurung!

Festival Malaysia the day itself! Dressed in cheongsam and danced in it. Also managed a traditional costumes booth with Yu Jie love. Thanks a lot to those who came and helped out! Thanks to Ivy, Pris, Tiong Hong, Edmund, Yang and his sister who dropped by! So touched~

And lastly, opening ceremony for Australian-Malaysian Film Festival with FREE ticket! Nice malaysian food, nice movie!

Phewwww long list of events which made my spring break wonderful and meaningful!

To wrap it up, the whole series of events are fun even though a bit tiring. One thing I felt regret was I did not have a minute for study. It's time to stop the fun and be studious!

Busyness

i think this week was the busiest week of my second sem in 2010. with OB assignment to due on week 3 (i know WEEK 3 what the hell rite), newsletter, cmg production etc. thank god i managed to hand in my assignment on time. newsletter is 80% through too. :) now is about myself getting updated on Festival of Malaysia, which i was so lagged behind (sorry =/ ).

Last day of the week, glad that i actually survived through the week. Surprisingly, feeling of tiredness did not overwhelm me. In fact, im happy with my productiveness. :) Yet, there are owez trade offs. I miss few dinners with Petrovic frens and my evil gang. I'm reli reli reli sorry!! I'm worried that dis mite coz distance between us. But i hope u guys understand it. I wanted to join u guys so so much. *sob*

Seriously, i need to adjust my time management properly. I promise there will be more time for studies and friends, and gym too. hahaha.

考试往往都是非常时刻，天天就是读书读书，（偶尔facebook）。哪还有时间管它衣着打扮，结果天天在家balia balia地戴眼镜，穿着大hoodie，头发也balia balia的pin起来。痘痘也不懂从哪里冒了一大堆出来。啊！！书呆子！=S

就连去考试时也没差多少，上半身四层衣服像怕死似地把身体报的暖暖，眼镜戴了戴就去考试了。我自己也不知道自己怎么能接受自己这样。天啊。。疯了疯了！

等着瞧吧~过了二十二号，我肯定善待自己，不再让自己像个黄脸婆！

Today was a productive day. Slept at 1stg last nite and woke up at 8am.

Sometimes u just feel motivated.

before 12pm, i dy did:-

And was thinking to make bread n butter pudding.

haha.

But evything becomes no point. it was not supposed to be like dis. scrap the bread n butter pudding.

2010, an important year for me to remember i guess. It's only May and it sounds like im writing a review of the year. But seriously, the 5 months seem like 1 year to me. So many things happened. So many things learnt.

I started working for the very first time (working at dad's shop and tutoring don count). I realised that it's not easy to earn money, with all the sweats, tears and wounds. Good things tho. Im using the money that i earned myself, i don wanna waste parents' money anymore if possible.

I started to realise how cruel a world can be. Should not be too naive to trust anyone. Must not. I always tried to convince myself that all people are kind, all those bad stuffs and tricks done by the bad people stays in the tv dramas. I was wrong. So wrong. There were too much mistrusts. I shall be realistic.

I started to appreciate family's love. They are, seriously, the only one who would stand with u, no matter what happened, no matter what u've done. I was, once, rebellious. I tot i was so smart, so mature and so proud of myself. In fact, i am the most failed one. Yet, they accepted who i am whole-heartedly. I guess, they would be the only one who are willing to talk to me, hug me and love me when the world goes against me.

I started to realised that even someone do not always talk to u, it does not mean that they do not care. There are times that, they are the one who turn out to be the one care u the most.

And the lists go on...

Still, too much darkness of life. I need some lights. Some reliance.

My easter break ended just like tat? No way!!

After the adelaide trip, Ivy, Pris and Tiong Hong flew to Melbourne with me! Hooray!! These gals finally made it to melbourne! hehe.. they were supposed to be here last winter but the plan got cancelled due to the H1N1 thingy. sob sob. We asked Yang to come over too ( we knew he wanted to come too xD ) but it was too last min. =/

Melbourne was so contrast with Adelaide. Adelaide was sunny and warm while Melbourne's weather was so shitty and cold. hmps.. Poor ivy was hit down by the crazy weather here, as usual, *lol* and fell sick. sigh..

I actually had 2 mid sem test during their visit, so i din make a good tour guide. =( luckily tiong hong was quite familiar with melbourne and thanks to him for bringing them around. hehe..
